- *Well, Suzanne V. Tanner I was delighted to read your response this morning and am so happy my article resonated with you. Blending families is such a tricky endeavour and I’m sorry to hear you haven’t had a good experience with it.
- My husband and I had the benefit of being older parents — we each had our first children when we were in our thirties. So we were able to set aside some of the ego that comes with being younger and focus on how we wanted our blended family to work.
- I’m very happy if you’d like to reference my article in one of your own and I’m excited that I’ve inspired you to write about your own experiences. I’m sure the reflection will result in some nuggets of wisdom of your own.
- I’ve thought about a book but there are lots of them out there and it’s a daunting task. Maybe I’ll look at the idea again. You’ve inspired me!
