Malaysia was amazing. Just arrived home yesterday and we're jet lagged.

The food was endless, and a fusion of Chinese, Malay, Indian and Syrian plus some others in the mix.

It was Chinese New Years for about 3 weeks, so lots of interesting art, singing, parades.

We attended a Hindu festival , Thiapusam, where devotees pierced their skin with needles, hung weights on them and then walked long distances in the heat.

We got covid. Ugh. Two weeks trying to stay away from everyone while you're in a hotel.

Went to Ko-Lipe in Thailand and snorkeled. Saw a sting ray, a lobster, a cool starfish that was dark blue and spiky. Lots or coral, lots of tropical fish.

Met fun people, drank lots of cheap beer and just relaxed.
