It's feeling somewhat hopeless this morning. Ottawa didn't see it coming. Other provinces and cities are taking different precautions.

There are some differences between the two countries though, thankfully. But the lines are blurred.

The one thing I appreciated about this protest/occupation is the lack of guns. It's a marked difference.

And the trucks were met in Vancouver by groups of people riding bicycles, blocking them from entering the main downtown area. That made me smile, at least.
