As a lapsed Catholic I was prepared to find a man who was yet another entitled white guy. It was a relief to discover someone who brought kindness and Jesuit values into the role. I especially loved imagining the panic of the corrupt hangers on as they discovered he wasn't going to cooperate with the 'old ways' of doing things.
