Ah, the doctrine of wu-wei, water always finds it's way, flowing with the currents. My guy and I do a similar thing, but mainly when we travel.

We're leaving in a few days for a month in Asia. Haven't booked much except a few days at a hotel in Bangkok to get over the jet lag. Then we're going to Malaysia, not sure where the adventure will take us.

We both love the feeling of walking out the door to a day filled with the unexpected. New food, different people, fun interactions as we make our way. We'll be gone for a month - that's a short trip as we're usually gone for 2 or 3.

We do have a home base, which works for us.
